Sessions are ideal for people who have never tried a sport
Booking is now open for Bedford Borough’s Active Adults courses. Opening the door for everyone to try a new sport or get back into a sport they used to love.
Sports on offer include badminton, tennis, golf, indoor bowls, yoga, pilates, and football. Martial arts, clubbercise and dance are also available.
The courses all start week commencing 27 January, and will last eight weeks. These sessions are ideal for people who have never tried a sport, or who would like to be get back into sports in a relaxed, environment.
There are lots of other opportunities to get back into sport in a more informal way this new year with drop in sessions. There are:
- ‘Come&Try’ gentle exercise classes including tai chi and gentle yoga, exercise classes
- Exercise for the Over 70s with indoor kurling, badminton and table tennis
- Just Turn Up which is running a Couch to 5k course and team sports, including football and netball
All are welcome to attend these sessions, and there is no need to book in advance.
