Local homeless charities receive support from Bloor Homes Image: Bloor Homes

Cranfield Park was one of the collection centres

Generous staff and visitors to Bloor Homes’ new housing developments, including Hanslope Fields in Hanslope, Cranfield Park in Cranfield, Ampthill Chase, Ampthill and St Andrews Park in Biggleswade have been providing invaluable support to local homeless shelters.

The South Midlands office of the regional house builder set up collection points at sales centres for core items such as unwanted warm coats, shoes, sleeping bags and pillows.

Donations were taken to Winter Night Shelter Milton Keynes, Homeless Oxfordshire, Northampton Hope Centre and Hope Enterprises and Aylesbury Homeless Action Group.

Jack Costello, sales director at Bloor Homes South Midlands, said:

“As a responsible housebuilder, we are always keen to help the local communities where we build and we were proud to support local homeless charities who provide essential assistance to those living in poverty or without a home.

“Thank you to all those who donated. With your help, these charities can continue their great work and help even more people stay warm this winter.”
