Online career in health and social care seminar

Bedfordshire residents with uncertain employment prospects are invited to take part in a free virtual career change seminar to see if they have transferable skills that could be valuable working for the NHS or social care.

The online event will be hosted by Central Bedfordshire Council, Luton Council, Bedford Borough Council and their health and social care partners. It will take place between 10am and 11.30 am on Monday 14 September.

The seminar will run through the wide variety of roles needed to make the health and social care system work smoothly and deliver the best outcomes for people who use the services.

Above all, looking after people who need the support of the NHS or social care requires patience, understanding and an ability to stay calm.

Attendees will be able to find out more about what it’s like to work social care and health – and the types of roles that are on offer locally across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

And discover about how transferable your skills could be and about the support your local councils offer with job searching, applications and preparing for interviews.

Places are limited and are offered on a first come first served basis, so click to register for your FREE place now.
