Bloor Homes South Midlands Ltd has submitted a full planning application a doctor’s surgery on land at Mill Road, Cranfield.

The surgery will have an internal floor area of 448 sq.m and will include 35 parking spaces (3 will be designed to disability standards), an ambulance drop-off area and areas for cycle parking.

The proposed site layout also incorporates nine private market dwellings ranging from three to four bedrooms with associated parking, access and landscaping.

Land at Braeburn Way/Flitt Leys [Update 18:35 18/12/2020]

When asked about the plot of land on Braeburn Way that was meant to be used for a new surgery, an NHS Property Services spokesperson said:

“NHS Property Services is working together with the CCG to understand the clinical demands in the community and how that will impact decisions regarding disposal of surplus land on the NHS estate. We are committed to working with the CCG to find a solution to ensure excellent patient care in modern fit-for-purpose facilities.”
