Musculoskeletal (MSK) services across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) are currently being reviewed by BLMK Integrated Care System (ICS) and it would like to hear your views.

BLMK ICS wants to hear from patients and the public about their experience of the services and how they think they could be improved in the future.

BLMK ICS said it needs to understand what has worked well prior to, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, so that it can use this information to help design the future service in BLMK.

It is asking patients to share their experiences by completing a short survey and there is also the opportunity to join a focus group to take part in online discussions.

Information about the focus groups can be downloaded from here and if you are interested, you can email blmkccg.mskpatients@nhs.net or call 01525 624292.

Linus Onah, GP and MSK clinical lead, said:

“Our Integrated Care System has a clear understanding of the impact of musculoskeletal conditions on our population.

“We are aware that the pain, disability, loss of income and quality of life from these conditions have been made worse by Covid and the pressures services are facing due to the pandemic.

“This project provides a unique opportunity for us to work together with people, patients, and clinicians to reshape the services to reflect their needs, improve user experience and deliver value for taxpayers.

“Please join us if you can, as we work to deliver the best musculoskeletal health outcomes for our population.”
