BedPop Science Lab (BSL) is coming to venues across Bedford town centre to help celebrate British Science Week. The event, on Saturday 7th March (10am – 5pm), is to inspire the scientists, engineers and inventors of the future.
The Higgins Bedford will host dozens of hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) workshops, demonstrations, experiments, challenges and activities.
At the John Bunyan Museum and Basement @ Bunyan there will be opportunities to meet amazing animals up close and personal. Such as hedgehogs, lizards and owls. Also, sheep’s wool will be turned into felt to create felt flowers.
For budding botanists, a series of garden tours revealing the hidden secrets of Castle Close and behind the walls of The Panacea Museum will be available throughout the day.
