Bedford Borough Council proposes to reduce speed limits on C94 (old A421)
by John Guinn | Sep 23, 2020 | Bedford Borough Council, Marston Moretaine, Stewartby | 0
Bedford Borough Council has said that the ongoing major development works at Green Lane, Stewartby means an increase in the numbers of larger and slower moving vehicles trying to navigate the junction of Green Lane, Stewartby, and the C94, Wootton.
The C94 at Wootton and Marston Moretaine is currently a 60mph road. The Council’s Public Notice said that it is felt that 60mph is no longer an appropriate speed in this area due to the increased traffic.
The Council is proposing to reduce some speed limits in the area from 60mph to 50mph to help provide a safer road network for all highway users.
