Bedford charities to benefit from support for rough sleepers during pandemic

King’s Arms Project and Emmaus Village Carlton are among the 132 charities awarded a share of £6m of government funding announced by the Homelessness Minister Luke Hall today (Sunday 7 June 2020).
The funding is to help the charities to continue to support those experiencing homelessness during coronavirus and beyond. This includes providing beds for those who need it as well as the specialist physical and mental health help they need to recover from life on the streets.
