Customer feedback welcomed at Whistle Stop Tour event
Passengers using the Marston Vale Line will have the chance to discuss the service with London Northwestern Railway managers later this month – aboard the trains themselves.
The community line runs between Bedford and Bletchley. It serves a 12 stations and has its own dedicated Marston Vale Community Rail Partnership.
Services on the line are operated by London Northwestern Railway (LNR). Managers from the company will be aboard services departing between 2pm and 7pm on Thursday 12 September.
Representatives from the Community Rail Partnership and train manufacturer Vivarail will also be on hand to join in conversations at the event. Vivarail supplied the new Class 230 trains serving the route.

“Providing the best possible service to our passengers is our top priority and we always encourage customer feedback to make us aware of issues.
“By holding this Whistle Stop Tour event on board our trains we hope it will make it even easier for passengers to stop and speak to us.
“We look forward to meeting as many passengers as possible to discuss the Marston Vale line and explain what steps we are taking to make improvements to the reliability of services on this important route.”
