Festive arts and crafts fair from Bedford’s artisans
Bedford Corn Exchange is hosting an exclusive shopping experience to help you find a rare Christmas gift. The public is invited to browse and purchase creative and unique goods made by Bedford’s crafts people.
The Fair will take place on Sunday 2nd December and will feature over 70 stalls with a variety of hand crafted products. This includes cards, accessories, decorations and food.
Bedford Borough portfolio holder for Leisure and Culture, Cllr Sarah-Jayne Gallagher, said:
“This Artisan Fair is a great opportunity to grab some locally-crafted Christmas gifts, and get in the festive mood with carols, music and delicious treats.
“Entry is completely free, so come along to the Corn Exchange and browse the fantastic goods and crafts.”
Food and drink as well as gift ideas
There will be a food hall where shoppers can enjoy a cup of locally roasted coffee or Made in Bedford’s own handmade mulled wine. This is alongside other homemade treats including cakes, mince pies and vegan street food.
A variety of activities and live demonstrations by local artisans and craft workshops will also be on offer. Carol singers and musicians will also be on hand to spread the festive cheer with live performances and music.
The Fair will run from 10am until 4pm.
