The Danesborough Chorus is recruiting new singers in September

Love to sing?

Local choir, the Danesborough Chorus, is on the lookout for new voices – sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.

Whether you’re a skilled singer, keen amateur or star of Karaoke, you’ll be warmly welcomed. You will have the opportunity to sing classical music from all eras under the direction of the choir’s conductor, Ian Smith.

Danesborough Chorus has around 100 singers, of all ages, performing 3 concerts a year, mostly in the sublime acoustic of St Mary’s Parish Church, Woburn. Sometimes the choir presents a large work in conjunction with other choirs at Milton Keynes Theatre. This autumn it will be rehearsing Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle.
