Sounds Familiar Community Choir Strawberry Sparkles Singing

Strawberry Sparkles Singing

The Sounds Familiar Community Choir is busy rehearsing for its summer concert, which is on 6th July. This year the concert will be held in a larger venue, Cranfield Parish Church.

Strawberry Sparkles will include familiar songs from various genres, old ones and new, from an “Unforgettable” Nat King Cole medley, to songs from The Greatest Showman, La La Land, and Sister Act.

There will also be a lesson in anatomy with the spiritual, Dry Bones.

The concert will feature a variety of solo and group items, as well as the audience participation piece, this year it’s My Fair Lady. Sounds Familiar advises that you do your homework like Eliza, look at the words and practice your cockney accent – Absobloominlutely!

Tickets are available from the beginning of June. They cost £10, contact Chris Bush on 01234 757962 to book yours.

The concert this year is in aid of East Anglia Air Ambulance (EAAA) and Sounds Familiar. EAAA, which covers our area, needs help to become a 24/7 service 7 days a week by 2020. This would enable them to treat 600 more patients every year.

The Sounds Familiar Community Choir hopes you will find the evening a Loverly experience and feel on Top of the World by the end of the evening.
