Scout the giraffe Image Woburn Safari Park

The Bedfordshire Safari Park provides a safely socially distanced day out for visitors, as they drive-through beautiful parkland reserves. And now it seems many of the animals have been keen to join in with the fun.

To show solidarity for everyone taking a staycation this summer, the exotic animal residents at the Park have been entertaining themselves with some great British summer activities.

Whilst some animals have been tucking into cooling ice lollies, others have been taking refreshing dips in their bathing pools. The Aldabran tortoises have even been spoilt with a specially made Afternoon Tea, whilst the meerkats and mongoose have been scavenging amongst the sandcastles in their own beach paradise.

Tickets for the Park can only be purchased online and visitors are provided with a free 100ml hand sanitiser per paying car.
