Experience live theatre without having to travel

The Librarian Theatre is visiting Central Bedfordshire Libraries again this autumn. It has a new production, Alice in the Cuckoo’s Nest, written by Tom Cuthbertson.

It is a twist on Lewis Carroll’s classic novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Cuthbertson’s play explores the theme of psychosis in the world of Alice’s library.

The Librarian Theatre: Just a cast of four

This physical production has a dynamic cast of four portraying all the characters. The minimal set design allows it to be performed among the library bookshelves.

As with all Librarian Theatre productions this play is family-friendly. But it is not a children’s show.

It explores adult themes of mental health and is set in a modern day mental institution. Children aged 8 and over are welcome to attend the performance if accompanied by an adult.
