Aligning with 2020’s British Science Week, the University of Bedfordshire has announced its own Festival of Science & Engineering (10-13th March 2020).

On Tuesday 10th March,  between 8.30am and 6pm, University academics and students from the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) will be taking over the Central Mall space for one day only.

Giving shoppers, families and passers-by the chance to take part in some hands on activity and get inspired by science and engineering.

People will be able to take part in virtual reality demonstrations. As well as making DNA bracelets and getting up close and personal with a variety of scientific curios and robots.

Other activities include a Batak reaction challenge, a fingerprint scanner and 3D internal image exploration. There is also a free to attend lecture on Artificial Intelligence & Our Future.
