Motorcycle theft has increased in Bedfordshire Bedfordshire Police has seen a slight increase in the theft of motorcycles in the last 3 months. However, thefts of motorised scooters and mopeds remain at very low levels. By taking simple security measures, owners can reduce their risk of becoming a victim. Using a chain lock on your back wheel and through your bike frame, plus one other security measure, is the minimum option.
