Bedford Borough Council’s (BBC) bin crews, as key workers, are working to continue to collect household waste and recycling during the COVID-19 Lockdown.
To keep the public and Council staff safe, BBC has taken the decision to stop the provision of orange recycling sacks from outlets, including from its Customer Service Centre.
The Council is encouraging people to compact their recycling: crush, squish, stomp on, tear up and make smaller anything you can to fit more into your recycling bin
