Keeping Bedford clean, safe and welcoming

Bedford Borough Council has awarded a contract to District Enforcement Ltd to deter those from spoiling Bedford’s parks and open spaces and town centre from environmental offences.
It will be taking over from LA Support from Monday 2 November 2020. People will see the change as District Enforcement has a new dark blue uniform.
District Enforcement will have the power to enforce and issue fines to people seen littering, spitting, cycling through the pedestrianised area during the day, allowing their dog to foul and not clearing it up, and other dog control issues.
