Cranfield Park raises dough for Macmillan

There were cakes a plenty at the Bloor Homes Cranfield Park development in Cranfield. The development off Mill Road hosted a Bake Off event for Macmillan Cancer Support, raising £700 for the charity.

Organised as part of the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning celebrations, there was a fantastic array of bakes brought in by local residents for the event. These ranged from intricate cupcakes to delicious chocolate fudge creations.

Bloor Homes sales director, Vanessa Macnee, said:

“The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is such an iconic fundraising event for a really important charity that all of the team were really keen to get involved.

“It was fantastic to see so many cakes donated from across the local community. There was a real buzz at the development and it is clear that there is no shortage of baking talent in the area.

“Most importantly the event helped raise funds for a really important charity and I would like to thank everyone who came down, whether to bring a cake or simply to sample them, for their time and generous donations.”
